The Detroit Science
Center is pleased to announce that we’ve been selected as one of the
recipients of the Detroit Free Press Charities’ Summer Dreams
Program! Through this program, all gifts to our summer camp program
will be DOUBLED thanks to the generosity of the
Skillman Foundation and the Detroit Free Press Charities!
Our summer camps provide
a once-in-a-lifetime experience for kids of all backgrounds, allowing them
to immerse themselves in science and learn “by accident”. The enthusiasm
that is generated about science and math inspires a love of learning that
translates to school performance and career aspirations.

Some examples of what
your gift to the Science Center can make possible:

$200 will fund a
scholarship to a child in need or a new computer software program
-
$100 will fund ten
science kits for biology, physical science, space and chemistry
-
$25 will provide
additional learning supplies for one student
All gift amounts are
appreciated and can add up to a great summer at the Science Center!

and mail your donation to the address on the form. We will forward your
donation so that funds can be matched dollar for dollar!
Please make all checks payable to CHILDREN FIRST with Detroit Science
Center in the memo line so that we can receive all matching funds!
